1. Problem Definition

1.1 Introduction
With busy schedules, it’s easy to let that pile of laundry on your chair just keep growing. Instead of waiting for the local dhobi to show up, laundry services, which offer online booking and door-to-door pick up and delivery! Online Laundry System is an Integrated System of Laundries functional work, organizing and maintaining the Data necessary for operations.

1.2    Existing Scenario

• As the demand of customers using internet is increasing, the company has expanded its services throughout the territory and even started the retails stores everywhere, as well as to increase the comfort level of customers can make payments, place orders, request information of a connection.
• The company also has promotional mode for those potential customers who have large numbers of contracts connected with the company. They will be discounted by the applicable option: 10-15 connections they will receive 25% discount as well in advance and the security deposit, they will take advantage of 15-25 50% discount, 25-50 they will take advantage of 75% and over 50 they will get 100% discount. 
• Customer information is stored, including payments (Monthly rentals, Security Deposit, dues if any, etc…), based on signed contracts (for broadband and dial-up connection), customers will be provided with equipment (Modem or Router). Besides personal information of customers will also be archived.
• The details of the product manufacturing vendors are maintained along with the orders placed, payment lists, name and contact details are maintained. So it includes huge amount of paper work as a whole, due to which slip ups take place.
• All information about customer records, as well as a list of product providers are stored in large quantities of work papers. So easy error occurred. The detail of the equipment (stock), employees, vendors are maintained and updated solely by the Admin (Manager). They also maintain the list of the applications for the connection, some customers try to change their plan, and as well some gets connection but some don’t due to the feasibility reports, etc.

1.3    Proposed Scenario

• In order to avoid the slipups of the records and to bring the automation in the process, they want an online application to be build up which will update and maintains the records automatically. 
• They want the separate login for the Admin to enter the details of the employee, Stock, vendors, retail shops.
• The advanced search option should be included for checking the status of the order or the status of the connection with the options being the unique id as per the requirement, name on which the order is placed or the connection is taken, type of connection, date or period of application or received the connection, contact number which is provided at the time of applying for the connection.
• They as of now provide only the postpaid connection for which the bill will be generated based on which the status of the connection depends. There will be a separate login for the accounts department who will be calculating the charges as per the plan chosen by the customer, and based on the equipment, etc. After the bill is generated the details of the charges are needed to be updated in the site and this updating has to be done by the accounts department alone. 
• They want a database to hold all the details of the equipment, vendors, retail shops, employers and customers, and the connections provided and that of the applied (order) details, so that they can automate the system.
• The company is thus required to have an elaborate system for tracking down all the information, so as to respond to the customer queries and act based on their requirement
